Vice President JD Vance is visiting Kansas City, Missouri, today.
The vice president will speak after a tour of the Webco Manufacturing Inc. industrial manufacturing facility in Olathe, Kansas. Vice President Vance will discuss the progress President Trump’s administration has made in addressing fraud and increasing domestic production. He will be joined by Senator Roger Marshall. The vice president is also scheduled to speak at a federal law enforcement facility in Kansas City.
The House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust, chaired by Representative Scott Fitzgerald of Wisconsin, is holding a field hearing in Charlotte, North Carolina, to examine the effect of mergers, certificate of need laws, regulations, vertical integration, and fraudulent insurance practices on healthcare access and affordability in the U.S.
