President Donald Trump is in Beijing, China, for bilateral discussions with President Xi Jinping. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent are among the administration officials in the president’s entourage.
President Trump issued a message on National Police Week honoring “the brave men and women of law enforcement who risk their lives daily to protect our communities.“
“Throughout Police Week, we honor the sacrifices of our law enforcement community and the families who stand beside them,“ President Trump said in his proclamation. “United in gratitude, we recommit ourselves to supporting those who keep the peace in our neighborhoods, and we offer our heartfelt appreciation for the service they render to community and country.“
