Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
The Pentagon announced that the United States would be reducing the number of military personnel stationed in Germany, as its prime minister has criticized Operation Epic Fury in Iran. President Trump suggested that troops may also be reduced in Spain and Italy after their governments, respectively, refused American use of airspace and a joint base.
Pray for President Trump, U.S. Armed Forces leaders, and military advisors as they assess the Iran conflict.
Pray for America’s Foreign Relations
Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated Prime Minister Gaston Browne on his reelection as Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda. Secretary Rubio stated, “We look forward to continued collaboration with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda… to strengthen regional security by deepening cooperation to counter illegal immigration, transnational criminal organizations, and illicit trafficking.”
President Trump increased sanctions on Cuba in a recent executive order, expanding on a national emergency declaration earlier this year that designated that country as an “unusual and extraordinary threat.” The president’s order “imposes new sanctions on entities, persons, or affiliates that support the Cuban regime’s security apparatus, are complicit in government corruption or serious human rights violations, or are agents, officials, or material supporters of the Cuban government.”
Pray for the president and members of his cabinet as they address national security threats posed by countries, near and far.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that there were 48 outbreaks of measles in 2025. South Carolina’s health department recently declared the official end of its outbreak, 42 days after its last confirmed case. The state’s outbreak, which began in October 2025, reached its peak at 997 cases, the largest in the U.S. in 35 years.
Pray for Acting Director Bhattacharya and CDC officials as they review and publish health data and statistics.
Pray for Needs Across the States
After the Florida Legislature approved the new congressional map, which Governor Ron DeSantis signed on Monday, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and Tennessee Governor Bill Lee called special sessions to consider redistricting efforts. Governor Jeff Landry ordered the postponement of his state’s primaries this month after the Supreme Court determined that Louisiana’s current congressional map was unconstitutional due to racial gerrymandering.
Governor Laura Kelly of Kansas recently vetoed a bill passed by the state legislature that sought to slow the rise in property taxes by restricting increases in spending by cities and counties to the lower option of either 3 percent or the rate of inflation. Since the legislature adjourned before the governor’s veto, it does not have the possibility of overriding it, though the measure had enough legislative support to do so.
Pray for state governors, secretaries of state, and legislators as they propose and promote solutions to issues facing their constituents.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“Yale College was originally a religious institution. But during the time of the French Revolution, when people were reading people like Locke and Rousseau and so forth, the students at Yale became very skeptical in their viewpoints, very cynical. They would mock the Bible and downplay the Word of God.
Timothy Dwight challenged many of those students. He brought them to chapel one day, came with a stack of history books. As he did that, he had history books in one hand and the Bible in the other. He opened the Word of God and began to study the book of Daniel and compare it with history. As he did, the students were absolutely amazed, eventually gave him a standing ovation, and a revival broke out at Yale College. …
So, as the wise understand the book of Daniel, it’ll have a profound influence on their life. They will be transformed by the grace of God as they understand the prophecies of Daniel. There will be a revival in their own life, and according to [chapter 12] verse 10, they’ll be purified and made white, and they’ll be refined, their characters will be refined.“ – Pastor Mark Finley, HopeLives365, May 2026
