First Presidential Debate of 2020

President Trump and Vice President Biden speak of their records and goals to earn the vote of Americans.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden faced off in Cleveland Ohio for the first of three presidential debates leading up to the November election. Chris Wallace of Fox News moderated by leading the candidates through a list of topics including their records, the future of the Supreme Court, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout the event, each candidate interrupted or talked over the other. The debate ended with the question of the integrity of the upcoming election, to which the president reiterated concerns about ballot fraud, saying “We might not know [the result] for months because these ballots are all over.”

Biden said, “once the winner is declared after all the ballots are counted, all the votes are counted, that will be the end of it.”

Both candidates are set to face off against one another again in two weeks on October 15, 2020.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
