U.S. Deploying Additional Military Personnel to Middle East

Kuwait air defenses took out three American fighter jets, the pilots and crew survived.

U.S. Central Command reported that friendly fire from Kuwait took down three U.S. F-15E Strike Eagles on Sunday. However, the pilots and crew safely ejected. Officials stated that the incident is being investigated.

“During active combat—that included attacks from Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles, and drones — the U.S. Air Force fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses,” CENTCOM announced. “All six aircrew ejected safely, have been safely recovered, and are in stable condition. Kuwait has acknowledged this incident, and we are grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti defense forces and their support in this ongoing operation.”

Four U.S. military personnel have been killed in action since Operation Epic Fury began.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Iran “is a big battle space with a lot of capabilities, that’s part of the reason why it’s such a threat to us.”

Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Dan Caine announced additional U.S. military deployments to the Middle East. He said, “To those who would test our resolve, or threaten the United States, our allies, or our interests — understand clearly, we can reach you, we can sustain the fight, and we can scale the fight, and we will prevail.”

The U.S. and Israel have hit thousands of targets in Iran since beginning the strikes, including command and control centers, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) headquarters, the IRGC Aerospace Forces headquarters, and multiple other IRGC headquarters.

Despite an ambassador’s claims at a UN Security Council meeting that his nation is only attacking U.S. military bases in the region, Iran has reportedly targeted civilian areas in multiple neighboring Arab nations, including several airports, hotels, ports, and residential areas.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for President Trump as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • For Secretary Hegseth and General Caine as they oversee military deployments to the Middle East.
  • For God to direct Admiral Brad Cooper as he commands the U.S. Central Command and manages operations.
