U.S. Completes Termination of World Health Organization Membership

HHS Secretary
Secretary Kennedy says the action is a response to the organization’s “failures during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., announced the withdrawal of the United States from membership in the World Health Organization (WHO).

The health secretary stated, “This action responds to the WHO’s failures during the COVID-19 pandemic and seeks to rectify the harm from those failures inflicted on the American people.”

“Like many international organizations, the WHO abandoned its core mission and acted repeatedly against the interests of the United States,” Secretary Kennedy continued. “Although the United States was a founding member and the WHO’s largest financial contributor, the organization pursued a politicized, bureaucratic agenda driven by nations hostile to American interests.”

Secretary Kennedy added, “In doing so, the WHO obstructed the timely and accurate sharing of critical information that could have saved American lives and then concealed those failures under the pretext of acting ‘in the interest of public health.'”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Kennedy to receive God’s guidance as he heads the federal health department and oversees its many agencies.
  • For wisdom for President Trump as he evaluates the U.S. membership in international organizations and updates the country’s status.
