Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
The U.S. Coast Guard has had a Russian military ship off the coast of Hawaii under constant surveillance for three weeks. The Russian ship was observed to be 15 nautical miles from Oahu, just beyond the 12-nautical-mile boundary for foreign military ships under international law.
Pray for the president and U.S. military officials to be discerning as they respond to adversarial military operations and missions.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
Army Secretary Dan Driscoll led a U.S. delegation to Kyiv this week for peace talks. They arrived just hours after the Russian launch of 500 missiles and drones in an attack that killed approximately 25 Ukrainians and injured nearly one hundred. While Russia has claimed to only target sites that are connected to Ukraine’s war effort, its continual attacks have killed and wounded civilians.
Pray for U.S. officials as they continue to seek an end to the war in Ukraine.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
The United Nations Security Council voted in favor of a draft resolution of President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan for Gaza. The plan calls for a Board of Peace, chaired by President Trump, to temporarily govern during the transition and the formation of an international security force to disarm Hamas and other militants. Hamas released a statement rejecting the peace plan.
Pray for the president and international leaders as they advance the Gaza peace plan.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention encouraged consumers to double-check their freezers and refrigerators for recalled prepared meals after 7 new hospitalizations and 2 deaths occurred last month due to Listeria contamination. The agency recommends throwing away or returning to the place of purchase any foods on the outbreak recall notice.
Pray for wisdom for Secretary Kennedy and HHS, CDC, and FDA officials as they monitor public health and issue notices.
Pray for Needs Across the States
North Carolina Governor Josh Stein urged U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol agents not to racially profile people as they shift operations from Charlotte to Raleigh. The governor said, “I call on federal agents to target violent criminals, not neighbors walking down the street, going to church, or putting up Christmas decorations.“
The state of New York has delayed the implementation of a ban on natural gas-powered stoves and furnaces. Since the All-Electric Buildings Act, which mandated all-electric heating and cooking in new construction beginning January 2026, has been challenged in court, the New York Secretary of State has suspended the law during the appellate proceedings.
Pray for state officials as they address concerns facing their citizens and propose solutions to issues their residents experience.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“I was meeting with a friend years ago who felt like God was calling him to be a Bible teacher. This guy was brilliant, and it was clear he had been blessed with the ability to communicate truth to others. He was hesitant, though, because as he told me, ‘I need to grow first in God’s Word before I share it with others.‘
So I looked him in the eye and I said, ‘Do you know who gets the most out of the messages I preach? It’s not the person on the front row. It’s me!‘ I went on, ‘I’m the one who puts the time into learning the Scripture before I preach it. And if I’ve done that properly, I’m going to grow more than anyone else.‘ …
When it comes to the Word of God, you can’t give without receiving. In preparing to share the Bible with others, you’re going to soak it in yourself. This is true of the most seasoned teacher of the Word!
Now, you may not be called to preach or teach, but all of us have the responsibility to share God’s truth. So equip yourself to share God’s Word with others. It’s the best way for you to soak it in as well! – Jack Graham, PowerPoint, November 2025
