Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
The U.S. Army issued a directive that requires commanders to notify a soldier’s family within eight hours of their being classified “absent-unknown.” After a 48-hour window to determine the nature of a soldier’s disappearance, commanders have three hours to determine that a service member is missing. This directive from Army Secretary Dan Driscoll reduces the amount of time for tracking the unknown whereabouts of soldiers.
Pray for service branch secretaries and commanders as they track and report on the whereabouts of service members.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
The Ukrainian Navy reported that its kamikaze drone struck an oil rig near Crimea and killed an “elite” Russian and an anti-tank missile crew. The Russians have instead claimed that a Ukrainian naval ship was destroyed by a Lancet drone. Russia also launched 80 various types of drones in an attack against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that roughly three-quarters of the drones were destroyed or suppressed. Eighteen of the drones hit targets and some compromised infrastructure facilities.
Pray for U.S. officials as they evaluate the options that could lead to a ceasefire in Ukraine.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
Hamas returned the remains of dual U.S.-Israeli citizen and IDF soldier, Itay Chen, this week. He was the final American-Israeli hostage. Secretary of State Rubio said, “The remains of Itay Chen, a young American taken hostage by Hamas at just 19 years old, have finally returned home. We honor his life, mourn his loss, and stand with his family.” Hamas still has seven dead hostages to account for and return under the first phase of the ceasefire.
Pray for President Trump and Secretary Rubio as they continue to ensure the conditions of the ceasefire are met and upheld.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall of the generic version of Lipitor, atorvastatin. The Class II recall is for thousands of bottles of the top-selling statin manufactured by Ascend Laboratories, due to poor quality and the potential that the medication could cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.” Batches of the drug that were manufactured between November 2024 and September 2025 failed to dissolve properly during quality testing.
Pray for Commissioner Makary and FDA officials as they seek to ensure the quality of medications prescribed and dispensed in the U.S.
Pray for Needs Across the States
The Ohio secretary of state is investigating the registration of more than a thousand noncitizens who “appear to have registered to vote unlawfully” in the state. He has referred the cases to the Department of Justice, stating, “Ohio has earned its reputation as the Gold Standard, and our Election Integrity Unit continues to prove why. We work tirelessly to ensure that every eligible voter’s voice is heard, and anyone who tries to cheat the system will face serious consequences.”
California Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed the Family Preparedness Plan into law, which state legislators say is to preserve parental rights and provide caregiving arrangements for children who may be separated from parents due to the enforcement of federal immigration laws. The bill amends the state’s codes to expand the “definition of a relative” that allows others beyond immediate family members to be included as a caregiver, via authorization affidavits and joint guardianship.
Pray for state governors, secretaries of state, and legislators as they address concerns about election integrity and child welfare.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“Having a sense of control is very important to everyone. But did you know that there’s really only one area of life over which you have been given control? … Do not know what it is? And do you know how to control it?
The Bible is very clear and gives us powerful insight into ourselves, … You have no control ultimately over anything other than, God has partitioned your heart and He has said to you ‘guard your heart.‘ In Proverbs 4:24, ‘Guard your heart, because out of it flows the issues of life.‘ It’s like there’s a barricade around your heart, and you have got to put soldiers on command as to what you’re going to let in, and you’re going to give out, and how you’re going to govern your heart.“ – Pastor Ron Susek, FaithWalk Radio, Four Soils of the Heart, October 2025
