The defense secretary announced more strikes on drug cartel craft.
President Donald Trump ordered the USS Gerald Ford and its strike group to the Caribbean to continue combatting drug cartels. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also announced more strikes on drug cartel boats this week. Two occurred in the Pacific Ocean, as the U.S. military has expanded its attack on drug trafficking, and one in the Caribbean.
The defense secretary explained, “Narco-terrorists intending to bring poison to our shores, will find no safe harbor anywhere in our hemisphere.”
Secretary Hegseth stated, “These strikes will continue, day after day. These are not simply drug runners – these are narco-terrorists bringing death and destruction to our cities.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for President Trump as the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
- For Secretary Hegseth to be discerning in his management of the Defense Department.
- For U.S. officials as they address the drug trafficking operations of South American cartels.
