Pray for America’s Military
The USS Gerald R. Ford took part in NATO drills off the southern coast of Finland last week. The exercises included practice bombing missions by fighter jets from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea. NATO’s Neptune Strike exercises included sailors, soldiers, aviators, and marines from 13 nations and came on the heels of several Russian incursions into NATO nations’ airspace.
Pray for the president, defense secretary, and U.S. commanders as they conduct practice operations with NATO allies.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
Representatives from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and its National Security and Defense Council visited Washington, D.C., this week to discuss a drone deal with the United States. An agreement is expected to strengthen ties between the two nations as President Zelensky has been promoting plans for drone exports and tech partnerships with U.S. businesses.
Pray for U.S. officials as they consider the partnership with Ukraine on drones and other technology.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
After hosting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House, President Trump set a deadline for Hamas to respond to his Gaza peace plan. The 20-point plan would turn Gaza into a “deradicalized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors” and establish a Board of Peace to govern the area. Foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt have endorsed President Trump’s plan.
Pray for President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Hamas and Middle Eastern leaders as they consider the Gaza peace plan.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the approval of leucorovin, a calcium tablet that acts like folic acid, for the treatment of a neurological condition that causes autism-like symptoms. “We have witnessed a tragic fourfold increase in autism over two decades,” FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary stated. “Children are suffering and deserve access to potential treatments that have shown promise.”
Pray for Commissioner Makary to be prudent as he oversees the approvals of drugs and medications.
Pray for Needs Across the States
Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe signed legislation that redistricts parts of his state’s congressional apportionments after state legislators passed the new map during a special session. The governor said, “Missouri’s conservative, common-sense values should be truly represented at all levels of government, and the Missouri First Map delivers just that.” Several states are redrawing their congressional districts ahead of the 2026 midterm election.
The superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools in Iowa was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs for overstaying a student visa from 1999. He was also found to have an active voter registration in the state of Maryland since 2012.
Pray for state officials as they take action to ensure election integrity and determine legal voter eligibility.
