What a Powerful Name!
Several worship songs highlight the power in Jesus’s name. His Name brings salvation (Matthew 1:21), His Name works miracles (Mark 9:39). His Name brings healing and casts out demons (Mark 16:17-18). His Name brings answers to prayer (John 14:13). His Name is the source of life (John 20:31). There is no limit to the power of the Name of Jesus. Let His Name be on your lips and in your heart. Call upon Him in every need. Lovingly defend His name, for one day at the Name of Jesus every knee is going to bow (Philippians 2:10). Seek to please Him daily in all you do. Do everything, whether speech or action, in the Name that is above every other name, the Name of Jesus (Colossians 3:17).
