Persian Gulf oil exports have also returned to near pre-war levels.
The USS Theodore Roosevelt group and the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group have departed the United States to join the USS George Washington and the USS George H.W. Bush in the Middle East. President Donald Trump previously indicated that strikes against Iran could resume after the midterm elections in November.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has been implementing actions under Operation Economic Outcast to isolate the Islamic Republic financially and eliminate funding from the regime’s ongoing attempts to wage terror and develop nuclear weapons.
Secretary Bessent stated, “Iran loaded ZERO crude oil onto tankers in September. The Trump Administration is cutting off the Iranian regime’s most critical source of revenue.”
The secretary also highlighted, “Treasury is dismantling the financial infrastructure that allows Iran and other adversaries to evade sanctions, move illicit funds, and undermine the integrity of the global financial system.”
Due to the U.S. Navy’s blockade of Iranian ports and provision of safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, oil exports from the Persian Gulf have returned to near pre-war levels.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump to be led by the Lord as he considers next moves in the Middle East.
- For Secretary Hegseth, General Caine, and Admiral Cooper as they assess the situation with Iran.
- For Secretary Bessent as he implements sanctions and other actions under Operation Economic Outcast.
- For God’s protection over U.S. troops serving in the Middle East and around the globe.
