Pray for America’s Military
The Pentagon announced that the Joint Interagency Task Force 401 is enhancing its counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) marketplace to strengthen procurement of counter-drone technologies. U.S. Army Major Mike Hapner said, “Our revolutionary marketplace… creates a streamlined, trusted pathway for the Joint force, domestic law enforcement, and our international partners to rapidly discover and acquire validated technologies.”
Pray for U.S. defense and military leaders as they seek to ensure counter-drone technology is accessible to law enforcement and other agencies that need it.
Pray for America’s Foreign Relations
The State Department is continuing to urge the United Nations to dismantle the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) due to the affiliation of 100 staffers with Hamas. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Inspector General has received only partial answers from the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the International Organization for Migration, and the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on requests for staff records as part of “Operation Stop the Carousel” that seeks to identify and track the employment of extremists in international relief groups.
The Unification Ministry of South Korea plans to use the official name of North Korea, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and has proposed removing the term “main enemy” from its references to North Korea. Under President Lee Jae Myung, efforts are being made to restore inter-Korean dialogue, including restrictions on activist groups sending propaganda leaflets over the border. However, North Korea has recently removed references to reunification from its constitution and has expanded its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
Pray for Secretary Rubio and U.S. diplomats as they engage in discussions with foreign ministers and heads of state.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued orders to eliminate authorizations for the use of petroleum-based color additives in food. The agency has revoked the authorized use of Orange B and has proposed revoking the authorized use of Citrus Red No. 2 as food coloring additives. “By working to remove outdated and unnecessary authorizations,” Acting FDA Commissioner Kyle Diamantas said, “we are ensuring our regulations remain effective, transparent, and aligned with the agency’s public health mission.”
Pray for Acting Commissioner Diamantas and FDA officials as they review and update food additive regulations for the benefit of Americans’ health.
Pray for Needs Across the States
The California Attorney General’s legal action against the pro-life nonprofits Heartbeat International and Real Options is coming to a conclusion. The state AG has alleged that claims regarding abortion pill reversal are misleading, stating that the organizations’ promotion of high-dose progesterone as a way to counteract the effects of the mifepristone abortion pill does not adequately warn of the health risks. Both sides have finished presenting evidence and testimony in Alameda County Superior Court, and closing arguments will be held next month.
The Oklahoma Attorney General responded to a Justice Department announcement of an investigation into a town that voted down a proposed mosque, stating that local voters have the right to self-government via their elected city officials. After the Broken Arrow town council determined that the infrastructure and zoning would not support the planned mosque’s construction, a lawsuit was filed against the city by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of Tulsa claiming religious discrimination.
Pray for state attorneys general as they engage in legal efforts that impact residents and citizens in their states.
