Issue 756 – National Prayer Needs

Additional National Prayer Needs

Pray for America’s Military

Military officials are investigating the cause of a B-52 Stratofortress crash this week that occurred just after it took off from Edwards Air Force Base in California. The plane carried an eight-person crew who were conducting a routine test mission. Base officials reported, “Initial indications are that the crash was not survivable.”

Pray for investigators as they work to determine the reason for the B-52 crash. Pray for the families of the service members who were killed in the crash.

Pray for America’s Foreign Relations

Ukraine conducted a strike against a sanctioned tanker in the Black Sea that is part of Russia’s shadow fleet. The tanker is part of Russia’s effort to export oil and evade international sanctions imposed by the European Union, Switzerland, the U.K., Canada, and Ukraine. Russian command posts and bridges have also been targets of recent Ukrainian drone strikes.

Iranian officials continue to demand Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon as part of the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. Vice President JD Vance stated that President Trump honored requests from Pakistani and Qatari mediators to delay the release of the Memorandum of Understanding text regarding peace with Iran. The vice president said, “There are sensitivities that exist in the Arab and Muslim world that we’re trying to be responsive to.”

Pray for President Trump and administration officials involved in peace negotiations and the sequence of disclosure of those details.

Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz announced that his agency is modernizing technology to improve data flows that will make it easier to audit the Medicaid program. “We now can do it in a very straightforward way for the 44 states that don’t have state-based Medicaid plans for us to be able to audit it,” Dr. Oz. “If you want to use technology to help Americans connect better with healthcare system, you have to update them.”

Pray for Administrator Oz and CMS officials as they update Medicaid data technology and seek to prevent fraud.

Pray for Needs Across the States

A Wisconsin state judge recently upheld the conviction of state judge Hannah Dugan, who escorted an illegal alien from her courtroom and out a nonpublic exit to help him evade arrest by federal immigration enforcement officers at the courthouse in April 2025. Dugan, who was found guilty of obstruction and faces five years in prison, disbarment, and fines, had requested the court to reconsider and grant her a new trial.

The Alaska Division of Elections determined that Dan J. Sullivan was ineligible to run for office against U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan. The current senator was considering a lawsuit against the potential opponent of the same name for trademark infringement after the second Sullivan used logos and slogans similar to those Senator Sullivan had previously used. The state election officials declared that the imitating candidate was not eligible after a review of evidence found he misrepresented his party and political affiliation.

Pray for state judges and election officials as they seek to ensure the law is upheld and elections are conducted with integrity.

Pray for America’s Faith Community

“I had someone tell me once, why would we share the gospel with someone if the Bible says they’re not even able to respond to the gospel without God’s infusion of life? My answer was very simple… I said, ‘Because Christ told us to.’
We get a chance to be used by God to do something God is getting done. It’s like Malachi chapter 1, I often think of that. God’s going to get his job done. He’s going to have his name honored. He’s going to have people that worship him and have the blessing of worshipping him. If you don’t do it, he’s going to get it done one way or another and he’ll move on.
My point is, if he says, ‘I’ll use people to get people saved,’ I want to get involved in that chain and say, ‘I want to do that. I want the privilege of doing that.’ Because… God could do all this without us, but he gives us the privilege and the opportunity to be a part of the process.” – Pastor Mike Fabarez, Focal Point, “Why Should We Share the Gospel?”
