Thursday, May 21

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today as the kick-off for the summer travel season. TSA said that they are “staffed and ready to screen an expected 18.3 million passengers and crew at our nation’s airports between Thursday, May 21, and Wednesday, May 27.”

The agency stated, “TSA’s mission to ensure all passengers can travel throughout America in peace and security is only possible because of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to build and preserve this nation. On Memorial Day, and every day, TSA salutes their sacrifice.”

Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg is concluding his travels to Singapore and the Philippines today. The State Department said that Under Secretary Helberg met “with government officials, private sector representatives, and other ASEAN member states to advance efforts to build a secure, resilient, innovation-driven technology ecosystem with these two Pax Silica signatories.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Acting Administrator Ha McNeill to be discerning as she oversees TSA.
  • For Secretary of State Rubio and all American diplomats as they engage foreign officials in security discussions and negotiations.
  • For members of the Senate and House as they conduct hearings and deliberate on appropriations for fiscal year 2027.
  • For President Trump to receive God’s wisdom as he evaluates options to address issues facing the nation.
