Humble Prayer
Have you ever considered this week’s verse in the context of this nation? It is tempting to get caught up in the social ills and political division, losing sight of God’s call for His people to repent. While it is important to pray over the legal battles regarding moral issues and religious freedoms, you need to remember to humble yourself before the Lord. To seek His face. To turn from wicked ways. God promises to hear, forgive, and heal, not due to how staunchly you argue or defend your views, but how humbly you pray and prioritize Him! Be a witness today of the loving, gracious, merciful Lord that you serve, turning in confidence toward Him to resolve national and international problems.
