If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? – Psalm 11:3
Solid Foundation
Stable foundations are essential. The world’s tallest building has a concrete and steel foundation that features 192 piles buried more than 164 feet deep (15 stories). Without it, there is no way the structure would stand for long. In everyday life, there are also critical foundations—both to the individual and to the nation. First among them is Christ, your sure foundation. “For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11). For the United States, the Constitution is the foundation that was laid by the Founding Fathers. For society, the family is foundational, and traditional marriage is the foundation of the family. These foundations—Jesus, the Constitution, family, and marriage—have come under attack in this nation. Take your stand in support of them and pray for U.S. governing officials to strengthen and protect all these foundations.
