A Pew Research Center survey found that most respondents believe the founders of the United States intended the country to be a Christian nation and tended to support Christian traditionalism. Those early leaders’ intentions were borne out in the documents that established the nation. While not entirely discarded, that focus seems to have blurred in today’s culture. However, since the pandemic, the former decline in Christianity began to level off, according to Pew’s Religious Landscape Study last year. Focus your heart and mind on the Lord as you pray over the nation, and ask Him to draw citizens’ and leaders’ hearts to a similar focus. Then read and apply God’s Word to your life, so you can follow where He leads you and help the trend continue toward the Lord.
