Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
The U.S. Navy is attempting to salvage a Sea Hawk helicopter and Super Hornet fighter jet that crashed into the South China Sea within an hour of each other in late October. The cause of the crashes of the aircraft assigned to the USS Nimitz is still under investigation. The personnel involved in the crash were safely recovered and stable.
Pray for Navy Secretary Phelan and U.S. commanders as they seek to recover the aircraft and discover the cause of the crashes.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
Russia claimed that it had taken control of two other Ukrainian cities prior to the peace talks with the U.S. in Moscow this week. President Putin launched another large drone attack against Ukraine as Russian officials maintain “three pillars” are essential to them agreeing to any peace deal: the territory of Donbas, demilitarization of Ukraine, and the recognition of the territory by the U.S. and Europe.
Pray for President Trump and European leaders as they seek progress toward peace in Ukraine.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
Representative Tom McClintock’s bill titled “No Immigrants Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act of 2025“ was unanimously passed in the U.S. House of Representatives this week. The bill would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to prohibit anyone from moving to the United States who carried out, participated in, planned, financed, supported, or otherwise facilitated the October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks in Israel. The legislation, which now goes to the Senate, would bar members and supporters of both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Pray for federal legislators as they seek to prevent Islamic terrorists from taking up residence in the United States.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
This week, the Department of Health and Human Services repealed certain provisions of federal nursing home staffing standards put in place by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) last year. The department found that the rule “disproportionately burdened facilities, especially those serving rural and Tribal communities, and jeopardized patient’s access to care.“ HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., said, “Safe, high-quality care is essential, but rigid, one-size-fits-all mandates fail patients. This Administration will safeguard access to care by removing federal barriers—not by imposing requirements that limit patient choice.”
Pray for Secretary Kennedy, Commissioner Makary, and other U.S. health officials to be wise in their assessment of necessary treatments for humans and animals.
Pray for Needs Across the States
A group of 64 Colorado county clerks wrote to Governor Jared Polis requesting that he keep former Mesa County clerk, Tina Peters, in state custody rather than grant the Justice Department’s Bureau of Prisons request to transfer her to federal custody to improve her living conditions. The 70-year-old Peters was convicted last year for her actions related to efforts to review the voting machines used in her county for the 2020 presidential election. She is serving a 9-year sentence.
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced an agreement with the federal government to cross-check the eligibility of registered voters using the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements, or SAVE System, for the next 20 years. LaRose stated, “Ohio has a duty to ensure that only U.S. citizens are registered to vote, and this agreement gives us the tools to do that job right.” A federal judge recently upheld President Trump’s executive order that allows states to use the system to verify voter registration data.
Pray for state officials as they take steps to safeguard elections and verify voter eligibility.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“The gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is offered to everyone, but we must choose to receive it. If we accept this gift, we get to spend the rest of our lives unwrapping all we are given in Him.“ – Richard Ellis, “Gift Wrapped,“ December 2025
