Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
The U.S. Air Force is in the process of developing its sixth-generation stealth fighter, the F-47. Air Force Chief of Staff General David Allvin said that this Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter is already being manufactured by Boeing and could fly as soon as 2028. The contract for the aircraft was awarded just six months ago.
Pray for President Trump and U.S. military leaders as they make decisions pursuing innovative and upgraded aircraft and equipment.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
President Trump met with Ukrainian President Zelensky on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. After their meeting, President Trump stated, “I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form. With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started, is very much an option.”
Pray for President Trump to be discerning in his approach to the war in Ukraine and his stance on ending the conflict.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
Israel has closed the Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Bridge, which connects Jordan directly to Judea and Samaria, also known as the West Bank. The closure is in response to a Jordanian national, reportedly of Hamas’ Qassam Brigades, who killed two Israeli soldiers at the crossing last week.
Pray for U.S. and Israeli officials to be prudent as many nations apply pressure to recognize a Palestinian state.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
President Trump was joined by Health Secretary Kennedy, National Institutes of Health Director Bhattacharya, and Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Oz this week as he announced the review of studies that found a connection between the use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) during pregnancy with an increased risk of neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism, in children. The Food and Drug Administration is going to require that the drug label be updated, issue a physician’s notice about the risk, and conduct additional studies.
Pray for wisdom for President Trump, Secretary Kennedy, Director Bhattacharya, and Administrator Oz as they seek to reduce instances of autism and other chronic illnesses in children.
Pray for Needs Across the States
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has attempted to revoke a company’s easement to operate a pipeline in the Straits of Mackinac. The Justice Department filed a “statement of interest“ supporting the company’s lawsuit against the governor, contending that the attempted easement revocation interferes with federal authority over interstate pipeline regulation and treaties between the U.S. and Canada.
Seventy people in Minnesota have been indicted, and dozens have already been convicted or pleaded guilty, for their participation in a COVID-19 pandemic food scam, “Feeding our Future.“ The $250 million fraud scheme exploited the Federal Child Nutrition Program that reimbursed states for the cost of feeding children. The conspirators used fake invoices and records of attendance and distribution throughout the state, taking advantage of the USDA’s pandemic waiver of normal requirements for non-school distributors’ participation in the federally funded nutrition program.
Pray for state governors and officials to have good judgment as they oversee the wellfare and wellbeing of their regions and residents.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“We are not the masters of our lives or of the goods we enjoy; everything has been given to us as a gift by the Lord, who has entrusted this to our care, our freedom, and our responsibility.
One day, we will be called to give an account of how we have managed ourselves, our possessions, and the earth’s resources — before both God and humankind, before society, and especially before those who will come after us….
We need to decide on a true lifestyle. It’s about choosing where to place our heart, clarifying whom we sincerely love, whom we serve with dedication, and what is truly our good.” – Pope Leo XIV, September 2025
