Living in Liberty
In much of life, you deal with boundaries. And boundaries are generally intended to protect you. Guardrails on a curvy mountain road are boundaries. Physical limitations are boundaries that do not allow you to exceed what your body is capable of. Curfews are boundaries set for adolescents. Within established boundaries, you have freedom. However, there is a choice to be made—stay within the boundaries of your liberties or move outside them. When boundaries are ignored, chaos often results. Today’s verse provides this guideline for your liberty: serving one another in love. Seek to identify the boundaries the Lord has set in His Word for your walk as a follower of Christ. You can be confident in God’s leading as you travel life’s curving roads. He has set the guardrails in place.
