Therefore, I tell you whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. – Mark 11:24
Stretching
How would you rate your prayer life? Do you truly believe what Jesus said about prayer in this week’s verse? In the verse that precedes it, He stated, “Truly, I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.“ Faith lays the foundation for mountain-moving prayers. Do you believe that type of faith exists? Are you more comfortable praying over “foothills“ than “mountains“? Be encouraged and confident that God hears and answers your prayers. Seek the Lord and stretch your faith. Pray for the removal of the “mountains” of evil in today’s world. Intercede about the big things as well as the small and trust in God’s power.
