The Almighty One
Do you ever wonder who’s in charge in the nation? Is it politicians, advocacy groups, lobbyists, the American people, or the judicial system? This is a question many may ask. Whoever thinks he is in control has the wrong idea about what is truly taking place on this Earth. You know, as a member of this team, that the power of prayer is working wonders, even when you don’t immediately see results. As one seasoned pastor said, “When you don’t see His hand, trust His heart.” Rely, too, on His Word, which says, “In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will” (Ephesians 1:11). Take heart as you follow the blessed Lord who is in control of all things!
