ICE Arrests Egyptian Chaplain on FBI Terror Watch List

His U.S. asylum, granted in 2018, was revoked under President Biden’s administration.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehended an Egyptian national who was flagged on the FBI’s terror watch list.

Imam Ayman Soliman first came to the United States almost a decade ago and was granted asylum in 2018. However, President Biden’s administration revoked his asylum status and added him to the FBI’s watch list. The man had sued the federal government in an attempt to remove the flag.

ICE could potentially deport him to a third-party country. Soliman was formerly employed as a Muslim chaplain at a children’s hospital in Ohio. Members of his family who still resided in Egypt had requested to come to the U.S. to join him.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons as he oversees the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.
  • For the safety of ICE and other Homeland Security agents and officials as they face increasing threats of assault.
  • For Secretary Noem to seek God’s guidance as she heads the Department of Homeland Security and its agencies.
