Receive His Peace
Peace appears to be elusive in today’s world. There is conflict escalating around the globe as well as increasing division in the United States. The absence of worldly peace invites stress, tension, and fear. However, Jesus says He is providing you with a new kind of peace… the peace that comes from the assurance of your eternal destiny when you place your trust in Christ, and the peace of having the Holy Spirit dwell with and in you as your Friend, Comforter, Counselor, Teacher, and Healer. And you can know that, no matter what troubles come your way, God has promised to never leave you and always be your help and strength. Rest in that promise of peace today, and let go of your fears by placing them fully in the hands of your Savior. He can handle it!
