Today, the justices of the Supreme Court are considering whether former President Donald Trump has immunity from criminal prosecution as president.

On the final scheduled day of oral arguments of this term’s calendar, the justices will hear the case regarding whether or not the actions of President Trump in questioning the outcome of the 2020 presidential election fall under immunity of the chief executive office.

President Trump maintains that the actions he took and claims he made related to the outcome of the election were official acts under his presidential authority at the time.

Though there is no actual regulation regarding the prosecution of former presidents, the Justice Department has traditionally shielded sitting presidents from being indicted.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the justices of the Supreme Court to receive God’s wisdom as they hear today’s case.
  • For President Trump and his attorneys to be transparent and prudent in their arguments.
  • For President Biden and current administration officials to conduct the nation’s business with honesty and integrity.
