HUD Distributes $30 Million to Fair Housing Organizations

Funding was awarded to ensure compliance through investigations, tests, and reviews.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded over $30 million to fund fair housing enforcement procedures across the country. Appropriate compliance with fair housing requirements is monitored through investigations, tests, and complaint reviews, all of which are conducted by paid professionals. Four organizations were awarded funding through the Fair Housing Initiatives Program to continue upholding HUD’s fair housing policies.

“HUD is committed to rooting out any and all forms of discrimination in housing, not just through words, but through real resources,” said HUD Acting Secretary Adrianne Todman. “Today, we’re awarding more than $30 million to help our partners on the ground educate the public, eliminate discriminatory housing practices, and fully enforce the Fair Housing Act.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Acting Secretary Todman to be led by God as she oversees the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
  • For HUD officials as they seek to ensure compliance with federal fair housing regulations.
