Trump Wins Majority of Iowa Caucus Votes

The former president takes 98 of 99 counties.

With a statewide vote of over 50 percent, former President Donald Trump handily won the approval of Iowa caucusgoers Monday night. He was the winner in all but one of Iowa’s 99 counties, losing the last one to Nikki Haley by one vote.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was second in the running, Nikki Haley was third, and Vivek Ramaswamy came in a distant fourth. On Tuesday morning, Ramaswamy suspended his campaign, saying he would give his support to the former president. Both DeSantis and Haley stated they are still in the race.

The next primary contest is next week in New Hampshire where results are expected to be closer.

President Trump took to the stage in Des Moines to thank those who caucused for him, declaring it was time “for our country to come together.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For former President Trump and his legal team as they address outstanding litigation during this election cycle.
  • For the people of New Hampshire as they prepare to vote in the upcoming primary.
  • For election officials and poll workers as they seek to ensure the integrity of ballot casting.
