November 25th – Saturday

I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the Lord who does all these things. – Isaiah 45:7

Today’s verse invites you to consider the vastness of God’s sovereignty. This verse challenges your limited human perspective. In your life’s journey, you encounter both times of joy and times of hardship. It is easy to praise God for the good and then question Him during trials. However, this passage encourages you to see the bigger picture. God, in His infinite wisdom, orchestrates all aspects of existence, from the brightest dawn to the darkest night. Allow the Lord to strengthen and grow you through adversity. In the midst of these storms, you can learn to rely on the Lord’s unwavering presence. So, even when faced with challenges, you can trust that God’s plan is at work. He is the Creator of all, working out His divine plan for your life, and His purpose is ultimately for your good. He is worthy of all praise, glory, and adoration.

As the Lord leads, pray with us…

  • For members of the federal and state legislatures to consider the truths of God’s word as they make and pass laws.
  • For judges and justices in the federal judiciary to rule impartially according to the U.S. Constitution.
