Today is Veterans’ Day. The Presidential Prayer Team extends gratitude for the service of all United States veterans as well as prayers for the healing and well-being of all who have become disabled during active duty.
Secretary of the Veterans Affairs Department, Denis McDonough, held a town hall this week to discuss the process for increasing disability ratings and obtaining community care referrals.
The House Committee on Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Technology will be holding a hearing on the modernization of electronic health records. The Subcommittee on Health Oversight will be hearing testimony from health professionals and others on emerging therapies to prevent suicide.
