Medicare’s annual open enrollment period has begun and is available through December 7 for those who would like to make changes to their Medicare coverage.

President Joe Biden stated, “As Medicare open enrollment starts, seniors and their families will be able to see the progress we’ve made in lowering health care costs.“

He added, “Starting January 1, 2024, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, prescription drug costs will be more affordable. Seniors and other Part D enrollees with high drug spending will have their out-of-pocket drug costs capped at about $3,500 next year, and all enrollees will have their costs capped at $2,000 in 2025.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure as she heads the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
  • That the president and administration officials seek God’s direction as they update regulations regarding prescription costs.
  • For American seniors who are struggling with the costs of medications in addition to inflation and interest rate increases.
