Rejoice in hope; be patient in tribulation; be constant in prayer. – Romans 12:12

There is a town in Arizona named Hope. As you reach the town’s limit, a sign says, “You are now beyond Hope.“ Imagine reading that as you leave town. What is your reaction to hearing that something is beyond hope? The Bible says that hope is a confident expectation. As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is a joyous thing to find your hope in Him. When trials come, there is hope in the waiting, a strong belief that God is at work behind the scenes. To be constant in prayer is to always have the mindset of prayer, ready to bring anything to the Lord, day or night. God will fill you with His hope and His patience during trials and will encourage you to pray. Have confidence in God for the future, regardless of affliction or tribulation. Pray today for those in office to develop a mindset of prayer and learn to hope in the Lord.

As the Lord leads, pray with us…

  • For God to work His will and purposes in the United States and the world.
  • For those in positions of authority and power to turn to the Lord Jesus and discover hope in Him.
