Wednesday, July 12

Today, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray will appear before the House Judiciary Committee. This will be the first time the FBI director has appeared before Congress since Special Counsel John Durham’s report was released in May.

Among other questions posed to Director Wray, the committee will query him about why the FBI has not complied with statutory requirements for searches under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio, chair of the House Judiciary Committee, stated that today’s hearing “will examine the politicization of the nation’s preeminent law enforcement agency under the direction of FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Director Wray to answer the committee’s questions with honesty and transparency.
  • For Chairman Jordan to conduct the House Judiciary hearing with wisdom.
  • For the president and secretary of state as they participate in the second day of the NATO summit in Lithuania.
