President Biden to Meet King Charles III Next Week

Trips to Lithuania and Finland will follow.

President Biden will depart July 9 for the United Kingdom where he has engagements to meet with King Charles III at Windsor Castle and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London. According to the White House, their meetings are intended to “further strengthen the close relationship between our nations.”

In early June, the president met with the U.K. prime minister at the White House, where the two announced the Atlantic Declaration. President Biden said that the plan “outlines how we can enhance our cooperation to accelerate the clean energy transition that must take place and is taking place, lead the development of emerging technologies that are going to shape so much of our future and protect technologies critical to our national security.“

The president will travel to Vilnius, Lithuania, on July 11 and 12 where he will attend the NATO Summit. On July 13, he will visit Helsinki, Finland, for a U.S.-Nordic Leaders summit.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For safe travels for the president as he flies to England.
  • For the president and his staff to seek God’s direction as they prepare for meetings with the king and prime minister of the UK.
  • For the president to be discerning in his international policies.
