U.S. and Ukraine Military Leaders Meet in Poland

General Milley affirmed unwavering support for Ukraine.

Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, met at an undisclosed location in Poland near the border of Ukraine with Ukrainian Military Chief General Valerii Zaluzhnyi. It was the first in-person meeting for the two military leaders.

The spokesman for General Milley stated the two “discussed the unprovoked and ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine and exchanged perspectives and assessments. The Chairman reaffirmed unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.” The show of support comes as the U.S. and international allies continue to deliver weapons to Ukraine.

General Milley traveled to Brussels Wednesday for high-level NATO meetings. He will participate in another meeting at Ramstein Air Base in Germany on Thursday and Friday where he will be joined by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and approximately 50 NATO defense officials.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for General Milley as he meets with international military leaders and discusses plans of support or defense.
  • For Defense Secretary Austin as he joins the chairman of the Joint Chiefs in Germany.
  • For God’s purposes to be fulfilled through the meetings with NATO armed forces leadership.
