Supreme Court to Hear Student Loan Forgiveness Case

Oral arguments are scheduled for February.

The Supreme Court announced that the justices would hear oral arguments in cases regarding President Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan and laws regarding social media companies’ liabilities for the content their users post on their platforms. Both cases will be heard in a back-to-back session on February 28.

The Department of Education v. Brown and Biden v. Nebraska are two cases that are combined into one hearing at the Court determining the legality of recent challenges to the student loan forgiveness plan by President Biden’s Administration. The court will decide if the plan itself was carried out in a legal manner.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for the justices of the Supreme Court as they decide which cases they will hear.
  • For the justices to be prudent in their interpretations of the Constitution and other federal laws.
