The White House has announced that the U.S. Postal Service will invest $9.6 billion over the next five years to electrify its delivery fleet. Press Secretary Jean-Pierre stated, “The USPS investment includes electrifying 75% of its new purpose-built Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDV) and a commitment to acquire 100% electric NGDVs starting in 2026.“

President Joe Biden is in Washington, D.C., today. He will meet with officials at the White House as members of Congress proceed with negotiations on the government funding omnibus legislation.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for Postmaster Louis DeJoy as he implements the president’s energy policies for the Post Office’s fleet.
  • For members of Congress as negotiations continue on the government funding bill.
  • For discernment for the president as he and his administration craft initiatives and programs.
