Saturday, December 17

Members of Congress passed a short-term funding bill this week, which President Biden signed on Friday to avoid a government shutdown. Now leaders in both chambers are negotiating the details of the omnibus legislation that would fund the government for the balance of the 2023 fiscal year. The stopgap measure is good until December 23.

President Joe Biden is at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, today. He has no public events scheduled on his agenda at this time.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For leaders in both the House and Senate as they debate and negotiate the massive government funding bill.
  • That the president would seek God’s guidance regarding his administration’s policies and programs.
  • For God’s purposes to be accomplished in the United States.
