Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at The Presidential Prayer Team. We give thanks for your faithfulness in praying each and every day and in lifting up our nation to God!

“This American spirit of gratitude dates back to our earliest days,” President Joe Biden said in his official Thanksgiving Day Proclamation. He added that it was gratitude that “moved Abraham Lincoln to proclaim Thanksgiving a national holiday, honoring America’s bounty and asking God to bring us together to care for one another and heal our Nation.”

“As Scripture says: ‘let us rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances,’” President Biden continued. “This is a special time in the greatest country on Earth, so let us be grateful. America is a great Nation because we are a good people.  This holiday, we celebrate all that brings us together, grounded in history and our shared hopes for the future.”

The president will spend time today taking part in calls and personal meetings with service men and women who are serving the nation and away from families and loved ones this holiday season.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • In thanksgiving to God for all the good and perfect gifts that He has given us.
  • For the president and first family as they take part in the ceremonies and events related to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
  • In thanksgiving for the sacrifice and service of the men and women in the Armed Forces.
