Following a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contract Group in Brussels, Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley stated, “Russia has deliberately struck civilian infrastructure with the purpose of harming civilians.”

“They have targeted the elderly, the women, and the children of Ukraine. Indiscriminate and deliberate attacks on civilian targets is a war crime in the international rules of war,” the general said.

General Milley was in Brussels, along with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, as part of a meeting with more than 50 nations to discuss how to continue to provide Ukraine with weapons and aid in its ongoing fight with Russia, which has entered its eighth month.
