In the News…

Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland recently supported President Joe Biden’s warnings regarding those who question election results or resort to political violence, calling these “hallmarks of a fascist political party.“ He said, “President Biden was right to sound the alarm this week about these continuing attacks on our constitutional order.”

Congressman Raskin is a member of the January 6 House select investigating committee and had been one of the masters during the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump. He said that the former president’s call to rerun the election is unconstitutional.

“There is no procedure for the military just to seize the election machinery and run a new election, which is one of the things that… former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was pushing,” the congressman said.
