Updated Vaccines Ready This Week

White House considering the need for annual boosters.

U.S. health officials have announced that new COVID-19 boosters intended to address currently circulating variants of the coronavirus will be widely available this week. Health Secretary Xavier Becerra said at a White House briefing that by the end of the week, 90 percent of Americans will live within five miles of sites carrying updated vaccines.

White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Ashish Jha stated that the inoculations will remain available at no cost. The health officials said people should get the new boosters this fall and winter alongside their regular annual flu shots.  They indicated they are moving closer to making the COVID-19 boosters an annual vaccination.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Coordinator Jha as he oversees the White House evaluation of the status of the coronavirus.
  • For Secretary Becerra to seek the Lord for direction as he heads the federal health department.
  • For the American public to be discerning regarding the benefits of the vaccinations they receive.
