President Biden Appoints National Museum and Library Services Members

11 individuals selected to serve on the board.

On Monday, Crosby Kemper, the Director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services welcomed President Joe Biden’s 11 appointees as new members of the National Museum and Library Services Board. These 11 individuals will take up the task of advising the institute on its proposed programs and policies to better improve American museums, libraries, and information services.

“I am honored to announce the appointment of these new members of the National Museum and Library Services Board,” said Director Kemper. “Collectively, they represent the importance of diversity in the humanities and demonstrate the valuable role of museums and libraries in American society. I look forward to working with them and receiving their esteemed input.”
