President Joe Biden has concluded his visit to South Korea and travels to Japan today. He will meet with Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo where the two will discuss strengthening economic ties, ramping up manufacturing and trade between the two nations, and ways to solve the ongoing supply chain issues around the globe.

As part of these discussions, the president and prime minister will take part in the launch of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, which is meant to address the aforementioned issues, as well as set standards on labor and environmental concerns.

With China and North Korea continuing to show aggressive behavior in the region, and with the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the president and prime minister will talk about regional security and how the United States and Japan can partner to ensure stability in the Indo-Pacific.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president to seek God’s wisdom in answering the economic concerns facing America and the Indo-Pacific.
  • For guidance as the president and Japan’s prime minister focus on a variety of issues that both nations share.
  • For God to direct the steps of the president as he works to address the security concerns from both China and North Korea.
