Senate Group Reviews Clean Energy Tax Cuts

Discusses potential legislation for U.S. energy independence.

Around a dozen bipartisan senators met last week to go over an extensive list of proposed tax credits meant to encourage clean energy initiatives in the U.S. The group intends to craft a clean energy legislative proposal sound enough to garner bipartisan support but effective enough to address climate issues. They also hope that the tax credits selected from their list will create a clean energy economy that bolsters the U.S. marketplace.

“We’re trying to make sure that we have the energy independence of our country, how do we use what we’re using in a cleaner fashion and how do we help the next technologies,” said Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia. “We’re looking at everything we can.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the group of senators to seek God’s guidance in addressing climate change.
  • For federal officials to discern what solutions will be effective in impacting climate concerns.
  • For God’s purposes to be accomplished in the United States.
