President Biden Visits Lockheed Martin Facility

Highlights the importance of manufacturers making anti-tank weapons.

On Tuesday, President Biden visited a Lockheed Martin manufacturing facility in Alabama that assembles anti-tank Javelin missiles that the United States has provided in support of Ukraine’s defense forces. The Pentagon has sent 5,500 Javelin systems to Ukraine thus far, which according to Ukrainian officials, have helped destroy 1,026 Russian tanks.

The president stated, “The United States is leading our Allies and partners around the world to make sure that courageous Ukrainians who are fighting for the future of their nation have the weapons and the capacity and ammunition and equipment to defend themselves.“ President Biden has proposed another assistance package to Congress, this one worth $33 billion.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and Pentagon officials to attend to adequate U.S. defenses as they supply Ukraine with support.
  • For wisdom for members of Congress as they consider the president’s request for more aid to Ukraine.
