President Biden Meets Virtually with Prime Minister Modi of India

Global leaders keep in touch on a number of fronts.

President Biden spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India in a virtual meeting on Monday. Both global leaders expressed a desire for cooperation economically, technologically, and militarily. They discussed Russia’s war against Ukraine and the way it has destabilized the globe, with a particular emphasis on the food production chain and food supply.

“They emphasized their shared commitment, as leaders of the world’s largest democracies, to respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations in the Indo-Pacific and beyond,” the White House press secretary stated. “President Biden and Prime Minister Modi looked forward to meeting in person later this spring, in Tokyo, for the Quad summit.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president to seek the Lord’s leading as he interacts with foreign heads of state.
  • For discernment for the president and his advisors as meetings and discussions are scheduled with U.S. allies.
