Today, President Joe Biden is staying at his residence in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He has no public events on his schedule at this time but is expected to focus on the coming week and his travel abroad to meet with NATO allies. The president and first lady are slated to return to the White House this evening.
The president will remain focused on the U.S. response to Russian aggression in Ukraine and he will call on international partners to join in the effort to bring about a peaceful resolution to the conflict. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said ahead of the week, “The president will attend an extraordinary NATO summit to discuss ongoing deterrence and defense efforts in response to Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified attack on Ukraine.”
During the visit, the president will also join the European Council summit and a G7 meeting “called by Germany to further discuss with our Allies and partners the consequences we are imposing on Russia for its war of choice.”
