President Biden Visits Fort Worth, Texas

Will discuss the negative effects of military burn pits on veterans

President Biden traveled to Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday to speak about health care for U.S. veterans. He addressed veterans and health officials about the services available to those who were exposed to toxic burn pits while on active duty. He visited a clinic run by the Department of Veterans Affairs to receive a briefing and to give remarks there.

This visit is a follow-up to the president’s State of the Union speech, where he promised to continue expanding veteran’s health care. “The VA is pioneering new ways of linking toxic exposures to diseases, already helping more veterans get benefits,” President Biden said. “We’re expanding eligibility to veterans suffering from nine respiratory cancers.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president to seek God’s wisdom as he and his administration look to improve healthcare for military veterans.
  • For discernment for Secretary McDonough as he implements and updates VA health care.
  • For God to protect members of the U.S. military serving across the nation and around the world.
