Two Helicopters Crash at National Guard Training

The Utah National Guard announced that a crash had occurred during their winter mountain training. “We can confirm that two Utah National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters were involved in a training accident at approx. 9:30 a.m. near Mineral Basin. No crew members were injured in the accident. Both UH-60s were damaged. The incident is under investigation,” officials stated.

A video of the incident has been circulating, showing the rotor blade from one helicopter hitting the second one while both were preparing to land. A spokesman for Utah National Guard Aviation Public Affairs said that there were no major injuries, and that an investigation is currently underway to find out what exactly caused the crash.
